Default Tires for winter

Hate to even ask this because don't want to think of snow /salt.

But not going to run my 22's in the winter. Will put my stock 20's back on and looking for tires. What tires and sizes is everyone running in winter conditions?

Im using the stock tires for my 11 Crew and they work perfectly. This past winter we had a lot of snow in NYC and i tried getting stuck in 2 feet of untouched snow and it wouldnt work. I have 18s on mine

Ive read some pretty bad reviews on the stock michelins. I dont see them being worth a damn on ice and slush.

Ive driven them through everything mother nature has thrown at us the past 2 years in the NYC tri state area and have no complaints....well except for looks i like the more aggressive look like the Nitto Terra Grapplers lol

Ive taken it upstate to dirt/mud/rocky makeshift driveways which are more like roads that were made by driving the same route a couple times.

I have no complaints with these tires and im pretty surprised they held up this far after 40,000 miles since April 2011

What did the reviews say were bad about them? Ill let you know what I think.

With global warming who cares anymore. Even the few times we've had real snow in the winter the next day it's 50 degrees and it's all gone. With 4wd any all-weather tire will do.

I put goodyear fortura on last winter and im pretty happy with them. they are not the cheapest or the most expensive i think i paid about 150-180 per tire.

The problems with reviews especially those that consumers give is you always get those people who say nothing but negative comments about anything.
