Default memory setting for power seats

Anyone have any issues with getting their power seats setting to save or is there a trick to get them to save?

I found I had to press & hold the center button in while pushing "1" or "2". Then it was no problem. Not holding the center button in resulted in no memory setting. Happen to you?

Tried both ways mentioned above and neither seems to work. Going into the dealership next week with this and the shock/clunk sound next week
