Default Random question for those of you with Sharkfin antennas

Hey guys,

So I really want to get a sharkfin antenna, but I'm having some concerns about clearance issues. The garage I park in for work has a big metal tube over the entrance that says it's 6'6 clearance. My factory antenna hits every day when I go in and out, but since I'm driving, I obviously dont know how high up it hits. It doesn't hit anywhere else in the garage though.

Anyways, wanted to know if anyone had ever measured the height of the car with the sharkfin, or maybe just how tall the sharkfin is and I can add that onto the factory height. Would love to get it, but not if it's going to scrape and take the paint off.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Here's what they emailed me when I asked:

The approximate dimensions of our shark fin is 6.5"L x 4"W x 2.5"H
