I've seen a set of 4 new reproduction Jeep SRT8s for the 2011-13 Jeep advertized for just under $1100. OEMs are running about $800-$850 EACH.
What's the line on repros? Shoddy? Weak? Chrome flaking? etc. Anyone here buy any type of repro? What's your experience with them?
Thanks.

Oops! My bad. Upon closer reading (DUH!) that price is for ONE chrome wheel. Sheesh!

I love those wheels -- just short of being creeepy, of course. How are they treating you, other than a bad balance? discoloration? flaking? etc.?
My plan -- assuming I get the money from the Comptroller -- would be to put on a set of Goodyear Fortera's after the 18X8 stock Michelin Latitudes hit their wear bars in a few months. I've been using Michelins since my first pair in 1972, but at $275 a pop -- whew, I just don't know.
