Good luck with customer care. I had a horrible experience with getting an issue with my RAM resolved, which ultimately led to me getting rid of it. I have determined customer care is a waste of time, from top to bottom. Their management is a joke in my opinion.

I hope in your case you have a much better experience and get all of your issues resolved! Maybe, just maybe, me seeing someone have a positive experience with them will help renew my faith and their tarnished reputation in my eyes. Are you reading this customer care?

^ I hope as well, as for the latest update ... guess what went back into Service Friday .. yup check engine ... this is my 8TH VISIT. This is bordering on funny now, I am going to tell customer care on Monday that I am moving forward with a lemon claim. If I need to get legal representation involved then I will if need be. Hopefully it won't come down to it .. I just want my Down payment back, payments made, fee's etc, minus any mileage I have accrued.

What kind of gas are you using. Hemi uses 89.

Spoke to my "customer care" contact this morning ... apparently according to her there was no startech case opened on behalf of the Durango. So I am not sure if she is looking at it correctly but my service adviser stated that they did. She also mentioned the trade assist was suppose to be off of invoice, not MSRP. Which many here have stated, so I am even more upset with said dealership now. I mentioned that I wanted to purse a buy back / lemon claim. If I need to get legal representation involved I will. New car ownership isn't supposed to be this stressful!

I am more positive than ever that there has been something wrong with that motor and a tech at that dealer knows it. The temperature rises are because your D is having engine knock due to something getting in the cylinders. Again the plugs that are in there now I'll bet they are all gunked up and crap all over them
Good Luck

Yeah it is so odd, temps are fine now since the thermostat was replaced and the car runs fine ... in other words it doesn't run like crap after the check engine light. yet at this point I shouldn't have to deal with this anymore ... blegh.

He told you he replaced the stat, you didnt physically watch him. He also did so much other stuff to try and find the problem that is all just melds together.
I really hope Chrysler does good by you

^ I hope so as well, the customer care rep was a bit surprised that the dealer didn't offer me trade assist off of invoice. At this point not sure I want to deal with them from that aspect. When she calls back, hopefully I will get some direction but I will want to know if I can go to a different dealer.
