Billet Tech Countdown Sale

The annual BT countdown sale is Tomorrow (Friday). Now, I'm not a huge fan of BT as quality has seemed to decline a bit over the years but I highly recommend that you guys at the very least pick up an oil dipstick during the 40% off sale. The stock yellow plastic piece is a ticking time bomb and will eventually break off, leaving the dipstick stuck inside the tube. And good luck getting it out. The billet piece is far superior, although you do have to watch out when checking/changing oil as it does get really HOT. Installation is as easy as tightening an Allen screw with the included wrench.

Edit: I should also mention that you most likely will NOT receive it before Christmas but YMMV.

Catch can has been sitting in my cart ever since they sent the notification last week.

There quality is top notch. Also what else billet wise could u even compare it to for the D? I will be getting every other billet piece I have wanted tomorrow. The catch can is a must have. I have been shocked at how much oil it's been catching.

Would you consider the catch can a must-buy for the HEMI 2014 Dodge Durango and would it even work on the new model? I've honestly never considered getting one. My Durango is brand new, so if oil does pass through it unintentionally, I guess now would be the best time to get it. Weird that it only says 2011-2012 Durango 5.7L

On a HEMI motor that you plan to keep a while, yes, it's a MUST have. Had one on my RAM, have one on my Charger R/T and now will have one on my Durango.

Just ask someone to show you how much oil vapor it catches, it's crazy.

Yes def must buy for the hemi. I am shocked at how much I have pulled out in 2200 miles. I put mine on at 2k on the odometer and pulled a decent amt in only 400 miles. Did oil change at 2500 miles and now at 4200 miles and poured it out again the other day. Also it will fit 13 and 14's

Does the catch can void warranty work?

lhymes 11-14-2013 06:03 PM

Ok, as long as it won't affect the warranty, I'll definitely get it tomorrow.
