Seat comfort
I bought a 2011 Durango crew with cloth seats after having 5 , 1 and 2 gen durangos I feel the drivers seat offers way less comfort than the previous durAngos. I am a big guy 6 ' 5 and 270 . Anyone else feel the seats are lacking comfort?
I have to believe you have power seats? you should be able to adjust the lumbar, height, and just about everything else to customize it for your height. I'm 6'3 - 195 so I consider myself "big" but I find it to be very comfortable...maybe the 2013 seat is different?
I agree completely. The leather seats in my '13 RT do lack padding. Much firmer than my wifes explorer that has very comfortable and soft seats. Going from heres to mine is like going from a comfy recliner to a wooden bench! One of the things I do not like about the D...
My feelings xactley going from my wife's heated leather seats on her Nissan quest back to the Durango is like nite and day. I guess they figured American are all small people. I bought it used and I really like the rest of the car so I guess I can live with it. I'm retired so I don't use it everyday

I happen to think the D's seats are very comfy. I am 6-2 with serious back and hip problems and have had little discomfort even on long trips. Soft does not make for a comfortable driving seat. You're not taking a nap, you need proper support. These seats are not quite as good as my old Volvo who is known widely for ergonomics, but they are darn good on a long trip.
