Traded in my 2012 for a brand new 2014. The old one like the new one had the hemi. The difference between the two is day and night. The main reason is the 8 speed trans. I hated the old trans. The new one is excellent. Otherwise, nice new toys - love the new dash, touch screen and for us the new interior (tan/black vs the old all black). Slightly polarizing but I love the led tail lights.

Are you seeing a difference in the gas mileage with the 8 speed? I've got a 12 Citadel Hemi and had thought about trading too but can't decide if it's worth it or not. My plan is to pay this one off and keep it for a while since my son will be getting his license about the time it's paid off.

 

I'll get some pics up this weekend. To the gas mileage question - too early to tell. The mileage is I'd say down a few right now but not stressing. I picked it up w 25 miles on it. My guess is it will loosen up in a few thousand miles.

 

How does the Alpine sound in the '14?

 

No pics he sorry. The sound system is nice but a bit boomy - turned down the base and still a bit much. Only gripe after one week is the auto climate, it's cold in the NE but the auto temp at even 60 degrees is sweltering. I'll have the dealer look into it.
