Default Woohoo! Bought the '14 black R/T. How do you guys suggest I break it in?

Flippin upside down excited! Just drove home a fully loaded black '14 R/T. Only option missing is upgraded 2nd row console, so my kids can move freely through the truck. They are losing their minds over the 2 DVD screens, haha. I test drove it with 5 miles on it, drove off the lot at 8 miles on the ODO. How do I break this 5.7 liter Hemi V8 in? I know with Corvettes it is said to break em in tough, at least for the C5 generation. Too bad my Vette is away in storage, would have loved to take some pictures together.

Thanks!

Thanks. My list right now is running boards, rust proofing under the truck, and brighter fog lights.

I have a much bigger game plan, can't wait to get started.

Sorry for the crapola phone pics, but it is cold out.

would love to know about break in too. 145 miles on mine so far, i've stomped on it a few times to pass some douches in the left lane, but that was about it.

here is my plan, for the first 500 miles:
Don't go over 60 mph
Don't use cruise control
Don't keep the same speed for over a minute, so keep slowing down and speed up gently
Look at my reflection in all store windows

Anything else?

At mile 501, hello WOT!

Looks great man. Be careful on sites saying the have running boards/nerf bars to fit, with all the extra cladding on the R/T, some companies like Aries, advertise all over that they have bars/boards that fit, but no true testing has been done. It maybe different now, but def double check before you purchase. Really love how the back looks with the lights.
