Default 2013 Durango R/T - Steering Wheel Issue

I've noticed my steering wheel in it's default position (when I'm driving straight) is tilted slightly to the right. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'd say its natural resting position is about 4 or 5 degrees rotated to the right and it's driving me nuts (no pun intended).

I've also noticed that the steering wheel is stiffer/more responsive when i'm making a left turn vs. a right turn. There's a lot more wiggle room if i'm making a right turn.

I'f i'm turning right onto a street, the steering wheel does not fully come back to a straight/level position whereas if i finish making a left turn onto a street, the steering wheel whips right back to where its supposed to be.

Took it to the dealer and they subbed it out to an alignment place and they made it maybe a tad bit better, but it's still not fixed.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Not uncommon for the steering wheel to become a bit "off center" after a vehicle is driven a while, or even when delivered new. Usually alignment shops can center it so you track straight in the 12 o'clock position. Assuming tire pressures are equal, you might want to check struts and bushings regarding the stiffer feel one way.

My '14 came from.the factory that way. No issues with driving like you describe though, just cosmetic. Not enough for me to care.

Keep in mind that, for safety reasons, all cars will have a slight bias to the right. This is so that if you fall asleep, the car will drift to the right instead of crossing the center line.

That is NUTS^
Bring it back and tell the alignment shop to do their job right.

Check tire pressure and balance. Rotate the front tires to the rear and see what happens. If the problem still exist then you know it is steering or suspension.
