Default Gibson tips painted matte black

Painted the tips Matte Black, the black beauty looks much better, Chrome is for the birds!!!!

Primed with with a few coats of DUPLI-COLOR Engine Enamel(ceramic). Then did six light coats of the VHT FLAME PROOF HEADER PAINT(Ceramic) Matte Black

Did you scuff the tips prior to primer?

A lil with some 600 grit paper, not too much though
