Well since it happened on a Friday night, they wont look at it until Monday or Tuesday. Cant get a rental until they determine how long they will have it. Luckily it broke down in the town just over from mine (service department is much better). Guy called me first this morning letting me know he pulled it off the truck and would look at is first thing this week and not to worry because its all completely covered no matter what it is.

I had all the reports (CarFax, service check, etc). checked before I bought it. Everything was good and clear. Dealership I bought it from wasnt the originating dealership. Older lady traded it in because of gas mileage. I found her name and number on some paperwork inside the owners manual. I really hope its just the pump and we can be done with this mess. My wife loves it and I think its just about the best looking SUV out there, especially in this price range.

Not sure who you are asking, just glancing through I didnt see anybody listing their location as NJ. I am way out in the middle of nowhere west Texas. We have 2 dealerships that actually have a mechanical service department within 120 or so miles (I originally said 150 but technically Lubbock is only 140 miles). You should see the overflow lots full of cars waiting to be worked on. They have literally bought lots of land to park vehicles on. I wasnt exaggerating about the wait times. One is May 28th, the other is April 22nd. But they arent going to make me wait in line. We did have plans for spring break but now have to wait to hear the news.

Answered you on the other forum as well. Lucas Dodge in Lumberton NJ is where the vehicle currently is.

Call Dodge Customer Care and complain. They will get right on it, may even pay for a rental.

My buds 14 JGC Overland with 150 miles broke down on Friday, tranny wouldn't shift, fluid everywhere, had to use manual neutral switch to put in neutral. Had to be towed to dealer, he was pissed. Tranny line clip came off and all the fluid leaked out.

Dodge Customer Care will take care of you. Try to relax, it will be fixed.

Angry

Had to order some lines and a new pump. Said it was fried. Had to argue back and forth but finally got them to authorize 5 days for a rental. They arent guaranteeing I will have my car back that soon though. Could be 5 days before the parts even get here. So much for our vacation plans
