It's really durable once it cures after a week. I power wash my wheels all the time and haven't had any issues.

Thanks Guys! I got it done here in NJ, DipOne Premier Plastidip, I dropped it off at 9am and picked it up around 3pm, same day. Johnny (owner) did an awesome job and posted the pics on his website. http://www.dipone.com

He said it took almost 2 1/2 hrs just to tape up the truck. I've already gone to the self serve car wash 2x since I've had it done, which was less than 2 weeks ago, and there are no issues. Right now, he's booked through April!

It's pretty durable. Johnny has a video on his website showing that you can peel it off, but you have to really tug at it to get it off, so no issues there.

Did they do you door jams, engine bay, back hatch jams, etc?

I have thought about doing this in gloss black to my rims but just can't bring myself to do it. I'm too worried about what happens when you want to clean. lol

No, it's purely exterior. I think that if I was going a different color, then maybe that would have to get done because you would be able to see the contrast, but with everything closed you don't see it. I would also think it would be difficult to try to tape up everything, but I'm no expert

$750 is a great price. I was gonna do the invisible mask **** for the whole front for the same price.

I'd rather do this but with a white base I don't know what color I'd do. Maybe just a clear coat to protect paint?

Really like the black though.

I'd be interested in the next few months and how dirt effects it. If it gets into pours and shows or not.

I would love to see what happens over time. According to his website and the manufacture that you will need touchups or complete redo on some sections after 3yrs depending on environmental factors.
