Default 285/40s or 275/40s?

I'm about to purchase 22x9 rims and at least a 9.5 rims is recommended for a 285/40 tire, but I know guys run them with 22x9 rims. My thing is I don't want the tires sticking out too far and I know the 285s will stick out a little bit on this size rim, but I like them because they fill up the wheel-well more. Anyone have any pics with 275/40s on their Durango? Just want to get a comparison. Thanks!

I believe CMIL was running 275s. I personally have 285/40/22 and they perfectly sit flush with the top of the fenders. They look awesome IMO.

You're running 22x9s?

Do you happen to have a pic? I know the difference in size seems minimal, but I want to make sure it'll look exactly the way I want it to.

I'm running 285/40/22's on my 22x9 rims and I love the look. They fit perfectly flush with the fenders/quarters...
