Default Nexus 7 coupled via 730N bluetooth - problems

Hi,

I am trying to use my Nexus 7 as a GPS ultimately replacing the one in 730N.
The goal would be to come up with a configuration that would run announcements via 730N sound system the same way the built-in GPS does.

I coupled the Nexus 7 with 730N over bluetooth successfully, but no sound is coming through. Nexus 7 makes announcements over its internal speakers, but the radio completely ignores it.

I am using Sygic GPS app on my Nexus.

Am I doing something wrong or is it what I am trying to achieve technically impossible?

Thanks
Frank

Not technically possible.

This is a Bluetooth Profile thing.

Your phone needs to have the ADP2P for audio Bluetooth Profile.

Then you need to set your UConnect to use Bluetooth Audio. BUT, in doing so you then cannot listen to the radio. It would be GPS Voice only.

I personally would rather have it use my phone's speakers. I have one of these connected to my phone so I can hear the turn-by-turn directions better.
