Default '11 D R/T 5.7 spark plugs

I just passed 32K on my '11 D R/T 5.7 and according to the maintenance manual, it's time to replace my spark plugs.

Can you guys give me some feedback on what type of spark plugs should I get? Should I get just the Mopar stock? or other OEM brand like autolite, champion? What about the type, copper, nickel, platinum? Does it make any difference? Or better just stick with stock direct replacement?

mopar Part # SPLZFR5C11...shows it's actually Nickel type made by NGK. Is this correct?

thanks!!!!!

New spark plugs at 32k? What kind of scam is Dodge pulling with that nonsense? No way I'm replacing my plugs every 10 months lol. Most auto manufactures have plugs at 75k or 100k. There is some poor engineering going on if plugs fail that fast.

30K mile plug interval is correct. The Mopar ignition systems are very high energy. Any manufacturer that states plugs are good for 100K is BS. The only reason those cars still run after 30 K miles is that the computer adapts to the changes in spark. At 100K there is nothing left there on those plugs when removed.
Ask Ford 5.4L engine owners how they feel about 100K mile plugs almost all break off in the head when trying to remove them at 100K
At best its $60 in spark plugs every 3 years they are not real hard to do

Sorry but 100k plugs are not a myth. Both my 2008 suburban and 2003 Chevy truck both went over 150k on the first plugs. My wife's Odyssey went 115k without missing a beat and my daughters Camry went 114k.

I just checked my owners manual for my 2014 R/T. and my spark plugs don't need to be changed until 100,000 miles

Are you sure you are looking at your book right? I don't see how the 2011 Hemi would be so different.

Yes, I'm looking at the manual toward the back that says 32,000 miles...replace spark plugs along with oil change + filter, air cabin filter, etc.

that just doesn't seem right and I would check with your dealer. My 2014 manual clearly says 100 K

Here's from the 2011 user manual

Anyone can provide me with feedback on the original questions, spark plug type and brand?

THanks

I was just in at the dealer getting a new front tie rod and the service tech also told me I should consider new plugs. I'm at 33k. I'll probably get the E3 diamond fire but, I will be doing it myself or have my mechanic put them in as the dealer wanted $240.
