Default grease inside of front wheels 2014 durango rt

I have a 2014 durango rt that is a month old and has 1300 miles on it and a few days ago I noticed that both of my front wheels are lined with packing grease and didn't know if that is normal during the break in process or if there is something worse going on that needs immediate attention from the dealership.

Not normal, is it a all-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive? The bearings are completely sealed and not greased on the on the rear wheel drive

Definitely not normal, go to your dealer ASAP! Had this happen to me on my maiden ride from the dealer and noticed grease on the drivers side rim, was a mess. They replaced the shaft-axle half and all is well now. Guess there was a vendor part defect on very recent built DD's. Good luck

There has been a problem with several 14 D's and JGC's
The manufacturer of the front axle shafts did not use the proper or improperly crimped the outside of the CV boots .
Look under there the boot probably has come loose and all the grease is slinging around
Get it to dealer asap, They should replace both axles
