Default Roof Rack Removal?

My 2011 D Crew has a roof rack system that I never use, and probably never will....on top of that, someone stole one of the cross-rails on the driver's side. What is the process to remove this rack system? I would assume just a few bolts, but there will be holes left behind correct? I don't mind filling them with a rubber plug for now, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with this.

I really just want to be sure that I don't have to tear down the headliner to get at anything to remove it.

Check the jeep grand Cherokee forums.(same platform) I came across someone removing theirs to do a custom rack but man I can't seem to find the thread.

Will do, thanks...I meant to remove the rails today just to check what's underneath but didn't have the time. I'll do some research...too bad people feel the need to steal everything they see.

I would try to find a clean looking screw to put back in the hole and seal the threads with silicone.
