Default Fuel injection

Since I plan on keeping the D for a long time i'm sort of planning ahead. What's the deal with fuel injection cleaning? Does it really work? Do fuel additives work or is it all hogwash?

If its done properly with the right equipment as in canister n shop air directly at your injection rail with ur fuel pump disabled-then it would definetly help a bit-

Been reading a lot of good things about Techron. So is it 1oz for every 5 gallons of fuel?
