All this work and I may not even end up keeping this vehicle after the scare I had today...I was at the dealer (had it towed there) after it happened and made sure they knew my position.

All I heard was what sounded like an air leak down by my feet, where the brake pedal arm goes through the firewall. Everyone is ok, but having to slam the e-brake with my foot while blazing through a red light made my heart stop for a second. Thankfully the guy in front of me decided to run the red light or we would have been in his back seat.

I have had problem after problem with this damn vehicle, this may be the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak....I don't know if I can comfortably drive this thing ever again.

Yep, brakes completely failed I had to slam the e-brake pedal down to stop (which doesn't happen fast by the way). Thankfully I was near a college close to my location and was able to swing into the main driveway to the campus doing about 40 mph. Everyone is ok but I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to see what I can do to get rid of it...too many issues in the 6 months I've had it.

I understand what you are feeling. The booster is made by TRW, sounds like they screwed up, however the vehicle is the sum of its parts.

Wish you the best of luck.

Thanks, I am heading over there this morning not only to see if they found the problem, but to find a way out.

Thank you, and yes they did thanks to a buddy of mine that works at the dealership...couldn't have worked out better for me only paying an extra $10 a month.
