has anyone gotten the new flowmaster "The Force II" cat back that has the additional resonators? Flowmaster states they have less in cab drone an dfrom the video they have out on it, it still sounds pretty good......but Im curious if the fitment issue that the American Thunder kit had has been been resolved with that system and what you think of the sound. Anyone have it?

 

Interested as well...from the sound clips I have heard, it is far less raspy than the American Thunder series. No need for a HEMI to sound like an angry bees nest.

 

Hopefully someone will chime in if they have it but if not I'll let you know. At this point that's what I plan to go with unless someone convinces me other wise

 

I have the American Thunder setup and love it. It my be perceived as a bit loud, but I love it. I did have to tune out the MDS with the Diablo Tune due to drone though, so my MPG has suffered a bit.

 

Ok thanks. They state that the additional resonators knock out the in cab drone with this set up. I would prefer to have the American thunder but this is the family vehicle and not sure the wife will tolerate the drone even though she likes the loud exhaust. Having to yell at each other during a 1 hour drive daily will get old quick

 

Ok, looks like i'lll be the guinnea pig on this one. I've got the hypertech sitting here, AFE ordered and I'd like to go ahead and do the exhaust at the same time. Surely with the combination of the 3 all at one time I should feel some decent performance improvement over the stock set up.

(Hard to tell when you do a little at a time. )

 

I had the American Thunder as well and loved the sound but she definately had some drone so the resonated version may take care of that...try performancepeddler.com for great deals on flowmaster catbacks!

Auto anything is the only place im finding it so far....
