Default Painted brakes with Dodge logo

I recently traded in my 2012 for a 2014 and decided to paint the brakes red and add the Dodge logo in white as well. I used a brush on Rustoleum paint to make sure it went on nice and thick and will last without chipping (have done this on numerous vehicles and never had any issues). What do you think?

Very nice, makes me feel lazy for just buying the caliper covers.

Saved you a whole day Wash Man!! The painted look good, but the covers are larger and sit flush so I think they stand out more.

It didn't take a day, it actually only took about 2 hours to do everything (just up, put on jack stands, take wheels off, paint them, put on decal, put wheels back on and put back on ground).
I just didn't want the covers that would hold the heat in and wear out the brake pads faster.

I agree. As for holding in the heat, under normal driving I don't see that as a problem. There is enough air flow around and through the brakes with the covers to handle day-to-day driving and even a few panic stops along the way.
Now if you're going to take it out on a slalom for an hour or so . . . :-)
