Hey guys, need some input. I own a 2013 DD and I am experiencing a rubbing noise from the steering column. It sounds like it may be something rubbing on the boot or seal right around the area where the steering wheel meets the column. Happens CW and CCW and is annoying (more to the wife than me) but doesn't affect steering. Any ideas on what may be rubbing and how to fix it?

My wifes Avenger does this
Look under the dash where the column goes thru the rubber boot
I periodically spray some lubricant in there and it goes away for a long time
