I'm thinking of replacing my 2012 at 99k if they still have Durango's in 2017. Will probably be up to a 9 or 10 speed tranny by then, and should be shipping the V6 intercooled dual turbo Hemi.

Well I ordered an Edge 3200 stall last week and hope to see it shortly. Looking forward to seeing how much difference this makes. As far as I can gather, this is the first '11+ to go this route.

I agree, the converter is probably the best bang/buck ratio after a tuner. I had a 3000 rpm converter in my blown 2000 Dakota R/T, it was real nice! If you don't have a tuner, get one (you'll need one if you go FI anyway). Programming the shift points higher makes a big difference off the line and in traffic. Teamed with the high-stall you'll have a much better driving experience.

Free mod to improve shift points; the tow/haul button. Of course a tuner would be even better, would be on all the time and could leave ECO enabled.

Edge racing 3200 stall convertor is in and hands down the best bang for buck performance mod yet. Anything beyond 30 drives like stock when going easy on it but hit it from a stop or slow roll and you're greeted by tires grabbing for traction and a pretty hard push into the seats.

What did a shop charge to put it in? Or did you do it yourself? Also, does this void the drive train warranty? At the very least the tranny warranty?

Convertor was $590ish shipped to me and I paid my local Chrysler specialty shop another 450 for the install which took only one day. As far as warranty is concerned I'm not too sure but the only way the dealer would know was is there is a torque converter related failure and Edge is the highest rated brand when it comes to the 65RFE. I will also mention that when the shop pulled the rear driveshaft the center rezepa joint locked up and resulted in the shaft requiring replacement which the shop was able to handle through warranty, they have some connections with the local dealer. Apparently with the lack of articulation over the last 26k mi of its life the internals wore a groove and it bound during reinstallation. That whole process took a little over a week to get a new one in by the time the dealer got the correct one in but seeing as I had some knee surgery done a couple days after I initially dropped it off that wasn't a big deal, I wasn't driving anyway.
