Default TPMS: OEM or generic??

I bought a set of 2011-13 Jeep SRT8 20X9 wheels from Wheels Solutions for my '12 Durango and used BJ's for the new tires and mounting work. I also bought a set of OEM TPMS sensors off ebay. The sensors are stamped with the Mopar OEM part number (56029398AB). I have two problems:
!. The the sensors won't fit on the wheel. The collar of the sensor is 0.575 wide but the hole is only 0.475 wide. One-tenth of an inch isn't much but the hole is small enough that it bunches up the sensor's rubber casing so much it prevents the sensor from going in. The installersat BJs said they won't pull the stem all the way through because it may break the stem off the sensor. (I called Wheels Solutions but they are closed until July 21.)

2. Additionally, BJs said they are reluctant to mount the wheels/tires because they aren't OEM to the Durango, and when they do try to mount them they leave rubber scrapes on the outside edges of the wheels. The installer said he didn't want to mar the new wheels

I know several of the guys here have bought the identical rims from Wheels Solutions and was wondering if any of you had similar problems, or am I just dealing with a rookie installer who is erring on the side of caution?

Lastly, has anyone here use any generic TPMS sensors. I assume any one would work as long as it is 433mHz. True?

You are absolutely correct, my friend.

OTOH, the BJ's installer was smart enough to know when he is in over his head and he recommended that I take the wheels to the local CarWorx, just around the corner. The only downside was that BJ's charges $15/wheel for mounting etc. CarWorx charges $50/wheel. F. . it. The job's done and I'm running on my new SRT8 repros and new Michelins. Happy trails.

You're assuming I know how to operate all this "new" electric stuff. :-) I got the pix on my phone, and now I got to get them on a server and then over to here. Give me a couple of days . . .
