Default LEDs in Fog Lights

Replaced the halogens in my '13 Crew today. Pretty easy swap:

Bought these:

Installation was easy, but I'm not sure they're clipped on all the way. Everything looked like it lined up but I think I only got one side firmly down. We'll see after the drive to work in the morning.

Old on the left, new on the right:

Both at once:

Next project is to replace the ambers with switchback LEDs and make them day time running lights.

Should be less heat than the original halogens since wattage would be 1/4 or 1/5 of halogen for the same lumens, and wattage corresponds to BTU's. They'd have to yield 4 to 5 times the lumens to make the same heat as halogen.

If I pull the trigger tomorrow, this will be my first mod. I have them on my Camaro for 3 years now...no heating issues with those bulbs.

after i found some vinyl covering to make them yellow.
