Little help "post wreck" please
Hey guys I need a little help. After nearly 2 months I got my D back from the drunk driver hitting me. It looks great, can't even tell it was in an accident. Here's the thing.... I only had the truck for about 2 weeks before the accident so I didn't have very much seat time. I have 2 noises that I don't remember hearing before but then again I was only in it 2 weeks and then out of it for 2 months.
First, now when the Eco/mds kicks in in hearing a little drone & "vibration feel" in the steering wheel. I don't remember even noticing when it engaged before.
Secondly, I'm noticing what I would call more sound/bumps in the truck over rough road/potholes/speed bumps and such. It kinda sounds something like the spare under the truck loose and banging but I've checked it and its tight. I don't remember hearing that before the accident. Do any of you guys notice those things in your '13 or am I just being over analytical of something that was always there and I'm just paranoid it's still some damage from the accident now??
Thanks for any help. (Btw, accident was front end/driver side impact)

I think that MDS vibration is normal. My 2012 does that but not always. Mostly when the D starts up an incline and just before the MDS disengages. There is a SB on the clunking from the rear shocks.
Give the Service Writer these numbers:

The TSB only covers 2014 but I think that the problem is the same on the 11's 12's and 13's. Let us know how this works out.

How bad was the damage? What was replaced? Hate to say it, but generally after a major accident, the vehicle is never the same. A big impact can affect so much beyond what you see. If hit in the front, it can mess things up in he back as the energy is transferred throughout the vehicle. I hope you got some concessions from either your or his insurance company (depending on whether your state is no-fault or not) to compensate you for loss in value due to a major accident. When you go to sell that car or trade it in and the buyer pulls the carfax and sees a major accident, they won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

You see I've followed in your foot steps the entire way though. Same Saleen, same D (only I had enough sense to get the good looking R/T and not the maw maw Citadel!!)

Great point! A few years ago I passed on a used Volvo XC90 that was priced by the dealer about $4K under the market. He admitted it had been in an accident but tried to reassure me it was "only body work, nothing structural." Uh-huh.
Loss of value can run into the thousands, make sure you check it out.
