3.6 AWD Leaking Front Diff
I have a 2012 Durango Crew AWD with the 3.6 and about 35,000 miles. Found a puddle on my garage floor after the wife went to work this morning, it was gear oil for sure. Had the wife drop it off at the dealer today for an appointment tomorrow morning. I swung by after I got off work and crawled around on the ground in the dealer service lot, sure enough, the bottom of the front diff was wet. Need a lift to see where the lube is coming from. I did a forum search and didn't find any threads on this. Anyone else with the same issue?

Possible Causes/Corrections
1. Lubricant level too high. Drain lubricant to the correct level.
2. Worn axle shaft seals. Replace seals.
3. Worn pinion seal. Replace seal.
4. Worn/scored yoke. Replace axle assembly.
5. Axle cover not properly sealed. Replace axle assembly.
Please advise what the dealer states.
I had the same thing happen a few months ago on my 2012 Hemi Citadel, at about 53k miles. They must see a lot of this since they knew exactly what it was when I called. Covered under 100k drivetrain warranty.
