I'm drawn to the Durango because it's the only SUV on the market that conveys any sense of "sport" to me. The Explorer Sport just doesn't hit my buttons. I'm tired of driving a glorified minivan (Honda Pilot) and I'd like more sizzle in my steak for my next vehicle.

I would not consider Jeep as a sporting brand. I think FCA would be making a big mistake if they dropped the Durango from the Dodge lineup.

Dodge has had an SUV in the lineup since the early 70s. Every other brand of consequence has an SUV in their lineup. It doesn't make sense for them to axe the Durango. It's still in Fiat Chrysler's five-year plan. It still fits into the sporty niche that Dodge is trying to get themselves into. I don't know why everyone is saying that it is going to be discontinued? I guess we will see huh?
