Default Volant

installed volant a few weeks ago. two questions

1. any issues if I don't get that bottom hole into gommet thing? wasn't room but feels secure.

2. I have retightened the hose brackets several times and every time I do they are loose. thoughts?

3. I know this has been brought up but never disconnected battery. thoughts?

I also installed my Volant recently, about a week and a half ago.

1) I don't think so. mine was stabilized mostly by the L-bracket.
2) I haven't noticed mine were loose. my thought is as long as you do not hear air leaks, its good.
3) disconnecting the battery is up to you. I decided to do it after the first couple days. I could tell my D was running a little ragged around the edges before it adjusted to the new air flow. and I only drive maybe 1 hour a day, maybe. the reset definitely speeded up the learning process for the ECU. runs like a champ now.
