Default 22 inch tire question

Finally getting around to putting my viper reps on. They've been sitting in the garage for 6 months now lol

I noticed on the Nittos that the 45 series is quite a bit cheaper than the 40's. Has anyone else done the 45's? Just curious if that extra bit of tire wall would fill a little more of the gap since we still don't have lowering options but wasn't sure if it would be close enough to rub turning the fronts stop to stop. Anybody?

We do have lowering options. But my guess is it will fit.

Who came out with a lowering kit? I must have missed it somewhere. The last I had seen on here about lowering one was you pretty much had to cut the springs or rig them in some other sort of fashion.

The 45 side profile actually allows a better fit on a 9" wheel. I'm currently shopping for a new set of tires as well.

Well I went with the 45's. Thinking the 1/2 inch taller sidewall over the 40 can only make the ride better and fill the fender gap a little more. They arrived yesterday and are sitting in the garage. Now just gotta find the time to get them mounted

On 285/40's my actual gps mph is about 2mph higher than the speedo. 45's will add a little more to that if the diameter is 32"+ Also impacts the ecu calculated mileage as you are traveling further per revolution.

I am shopping for Yokohama Paradas but they seem to be back ordered everywhere.

Got the wheels on the truck finally after 6 months of them sitting in the garage. The 45 series tires fit great and look awesome! Now.... Gotta tackle lug nuts
