I have a 2011 Crew with 55,000 miles. The air bag light for the passenger side(on dash) has come on and stays on. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? I checked for any loose connections that might have been hit with the vacuum etc. Would this be covered under the 100,000 warranty? Thank you for any help.

 

Do you have something sitting on the seat?

 

Nothing on the seat. Light also stays on when someone is sitting there.

 

Crappy "Made in China" seat airbag squib wire harness probably.


An Airbag covered under 100K warranty? I guess if you call Chrysler and scream enough you'll get it.


Warranty periods only apply to passive and quiet people.
