Default Uconnect remote access failure

Bought a new Durango 3 weeks ago and have had only intermittent success with the app re: remote start/unlock etc. Customer service says it is a software issue with the Durango that hopefully will be solved at some point. No idea when, however. Any insight out there?

Razzmd,

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your concern.

Can you please PM me your VIN and contact info? I would like to dig into this further to see if I can locate any further information.

Take a look at your signal strength at the locations where this issue has occurred... Don't be surprised if it's a Sprint issue.

I had the same problems on mine, until last week when they released the "safety" update software, I did the update and since that moment the Uconnect app remote has been working perfectly. perhaps try that you can do it yourself with a flash usb drive.. it fixed mine anyways.
