Default Loud Noise when switching into Drive/Park

2014 Durango 3.6 2wd approx. 19,000 miles on it

I know I have seen it mentioned here and there. The noise, can actually be felt when switching from Park into Drive, and from Drive to Park. It is getting loud enough that it is really worrying me.

Has anyone had any positive results from getting this checked out?

Overpowerdin and humyz,

I did some research, but it doesn't look like there's a TSB related to your concerns. I would recommend bringing your vehicle to an FCA dealership for a formal diagnosis. If you would like assistance in scheduling an appointment, please don't hesitate to let me know. Either way, be sure to keep us posted!

Sounds somewhat similar to TSB 21-010-12 - Noise Heard When Shifting the Transmission From Drive to Neutral. I'm not sure if there is a follow-up to this TSB that extends the coverage or if it is completely unrelated.

I didnt think this was a problem, are other rotary shifting DDs shifting quiet? I figured it was just nature of the beast.
