Actually, they did the new oil pan and then added a new dipstick to mine back in August of 2013. I have a 2013 R/T. Still has not fixed the blue smoking issue. Especially when you park on an incline.

Nothing they have done or come up with in their lame brains has fixed this issue. Not even the catch can so many said would stop it. Some people are lucky to not have any blue smoke and for them I say park it on an incline for 24-48 hours and then start the truck and see what you get.

But do not worry, it does not "effect" the driveability of the vehicle so you cannot lemon law it and FCA knows this.

Oh so Happy I have a lifetime bumper to bumper warranty as it will cost them thousands of dollars more than me trying to fix this crap!

Mine had 7.5 quarts from the factory, dip stick reading "full" measured new with 6 miles on the odo. Always takes 7.5 to refill. Others over the last few years have reported the same. Also have oil cooler

Heck, I just leave my 5.7 1/2 qt. low. There is still a lot of oil in there!
