2015 Durango R/T with Tow Package, I am attempting to install a brake controller and having a hard time determine best placement. Underneath the steering column is an airbag compartment. Any recommendation?

Is it possible for you to mount the brake controller below that console pocket (within reach)? Then it will be unobtrusive.


I also believe there are air vent mounts available if you don't plan on leaving the controller in when not towing
