Default Uconnect Sys. 2.600 & Nav. Updates available RHR

FYI; An update for RHR RADIO in the 2011-2013 Durango is now available. Unfortunately there are no changes to the radio or sound system, the update only pertains to the Navigation system according to the "HERE" company out of Memphis, TN. I spoke with a representative on the phone and he said; disc one is simply for the RHR system to understand the second disc which contains the Nav' system updates. If interested in this update, the number is 1-866-462-8837

That update is over 1 1/2 years old? And was released with the 2014 NAV update DVD.

J6L - This site below has the 2.184 and 2.600 updates available for free, but I couldn't find about what improvement these updates have over my existing 2.126 version, so I never downloaded or installed.

Map/Nav updates you have to pay for.

The phone number you provided is to this Chrysler site:

If your going to update yourself do not use a USB Flash drive it can brick the unit.

I was certainly surprised to find out that version 2.600 has been out for almost 2 years. I only remember installing the 2 complimentary versions 2.126 and 2.136 and nothing else. Here I was thinking I was getting the word out on something new...lol. Perhaps there is yet a newer version coming out soon and they need to get rid of the overstock 2.600 map updates.

The 2.600 is not a map update; it's just a radio update and you can download for free. According to the FCA website, a 2016 map update for a 730N RHR navigation system will cost you $149.00 + $3.95 shipping.

The product contains 2 disks; one is the Navigation Radio Software Update and the other is the Navigation Map Update (North America)

Yes DDCREW you are correct. The ordered package comes with 2 discs as you described. I should have been clearer, in that, I was referring to the MAP/NAV update package. Using the system update # was the only way I could see to describe what map update I was referring to. I did end up ordering this 2 disc package and since downloaded it into the 'D'. I have not gone on any trips to date to see if there are any obvious improvements. On a side note, I have suggested to the company to consider adding a small speed limit box onto the map screen but I suspect that will never happen.
