I just purchased a new '15 Durango R/T, which I'm picking up tomorrow. The best possible ending to the "time to get a van" conversation that happens once you are considering a second child IMHO.

My wife just pointed out that with 2 carseat bases in place, the fold/tumble seats won't fold or tumble. I'd like to take out the taller centre console (at least until one of my kids graduates from a child seat) and put in the base model floor console so there's a route into the back.

I can't seem to find the part # for the floor console assembly listed for 2015. Does anyone know if the 2013 part is the same? It looks interchangeable, and the sub-assemblies are the same but I want to make sure I won't have a hole in my floor if I swap it in. Has anyone done this themselves? I saw a few people managed to make the switch in the other direction (adding the tall console) in another thread.
