2016 Tail light assembly
I recently bought a new 2016 Durango R/T Blacktop Edition. Out of sheer stupidity I chipped the passenger side tail light assembly while loading something. I'm looking to replace it. I see basically nothing out there for the 2016 where parts are concerned. Can anyone tell me if the OEM p/n is the same for the 2015 .. or offer the OEM p/n for my 2016?
I find these for the 2015:

Also, what they would be referring to as "platinum" on this site? It seems they have two versions.
Thanks!

Wife did the same thing 2 years ago on our 2014 R/T. So you're not the first and you won't be the last. It's not stupidity on your part, it's kind of Dodge's fault for letting those ends stick out into the cargo compartment like they do. Really easy to chip it and doesn't take much effort to do it.
The good news is that they are super easy to replace on your own. That and the lower air dam on the front of the car are the parts I've gotten good experience changing after damage. Lol.
2015 and 2016 should be the same. Even 2014 should be the same as there were no changes to the taillights that I can tell.
Best way to know would be to call up your dealer and ask them for the part number and whether or not that part number on the 2014, 2015, and 2016 are the same. If they are, then you're good.
BTW, that's a good price. I paid full price for mine because I had to buy through the dealer as the truck was only 5 months old and there were no parts available as ours was the 1st year of the refresh with those taillights.
Just be glad you didn't hurt the center one. That sucker is expensive.

Hey,
I would like to know which part did you order and did it match the OEM part with no suite? I need to replace my driver side. Would love to hear from you email me at jacob45ortega@icloud.com thanks you.
