Default Replacing headlight bulb

I have a burned out low beam headlight on the drivers side on my 2011 Crew DD and wondering what all I need to disassemble to get to the bulb to replace. It appears the passenger side is easier to reach without taking anything apart. Just checking before I start the task in case there is an easy way of replacing the bulb that is not obvious to me. Thanks for any help here.

Do you have Halogen or factory Xenon?

Halogen is simple, just turn the wheel to the right, remove the access door (in the wheel well) and reach an ape arm in there.

If you have a Xenon D1S bulb, that is a bit trickier

Thanks coldsteel, I'll take a try at it today. I actually found a video that shows this once you pointed me in the right direction. I appreciate your help.

Yes, the replacement of my low beam headlamps went well. There is an access hole (once you remove the round cover) in each wheel well allowing easy access to the headlamps. Maybe 15 minutes max to replace both lamps. Thanks for asking.
