Default Knuckle White?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone where the color name "knuckle white" came from? My wife's new Citadel is that color -- which makes for a really nice looking Durango, especially with the chrome -- and we were puzzled about the name (you have to have something to do while waiting at the dealer's during the sales "process.").

Marketing. They are going back to Dodge's Muscle-Car days and renaming colors to invite the association of sportiness. "White-Knuckle White" as in white-knuckle ride on a roller coaster...
