Default Rear License Plate with backup camera concerns?

So I want to purchase a cast metal license plate that has a logo on it, though I have some concerns. When I purchased my R/T with backup camera I went to change out my temp tag with a new plate. When I went to put back on you need to tuck the top of the license plate up and behind the backup camera. Boy is it tight!!!!! I'm concerned that a cast metal license plate holder would be too thick to fit behind the BU Camera. Has anyone had success with cast metal license plate holders?

I'm surprised that Dodge made this an issue in the first place.

Looks better without a license plate cover anyways. 😬

It should fit. Mine is tucked under as you can see. The height of the plate holder is just shallow enough to not touch the camera.

Cool plate. I'm jelly of the GTO.

I kind of hate where the camera is located on the DD. It cuts off the text at the top of the Plate.

I have yet to get my plates. I will update if everything looks good.

BTW I'm getting a LP that states "My other car is a Lamborghini"....just kidding. It's a Cadillac CTS-V Wagon!

BTW - there was no issue with the metal plate I received. Still seems like a tight fit underneath the backup camera.

Tight is probably better than loose in the big scheme of things....

Best plate frame I have ever had, for the RT though...
