for camping / sunsets on the beach / etc. Anyone bought something similar and know what fits? Or is of better quality / durability? Might be better off / more comfortable just getting a foam mattress topper and rolling that out? I'm also looking for tents that you can put up right around the back so you'd be sleeping on the mattress with the back open but still have a tent around that, that you could seal off against bugs and stuff. Last but not least (for now), I'm also trying to figure out how to mount a camping shower on the liftgate for when I go surfing, so that I can rinse off before getting back in.

Oh, and then there's roof rack options for the RT...mine's a 2016, didn't come with rails or anything. And now I'm thinking they'd be good to have for carrying surfboards.

 

For a tent, anything that works specifically with the 2011+ Grand Cherokee should fit without any real issues. Most of the "rear hatch tents" are pretty generic too, so they'll fit on most SUV's with a lift gate. Happy camping!
