Default Eco mode slow grindy shifting.

Ive noticed that my D tends to have a lag in shifting, accompanied by almost a slipping transmission noise.

It only happens when im coasting, and press the gas to accelorate again in low gears like city traffic driving.

It also only happens when eco mode is engaged. I doesnt happen at all when eco mode is off.

Anyone else experience this? I figured it was an eco mode thing, but im worried theres something malfuctioning in that system?

Hi that$pit,

Has this been addressed at all for you at the dealership level? What model year is your Durango?

I've noticed something similar. Dodge supposedly has some TSBs out there to address hard downshifts/etc... I asked my Dealer to look into this. All they do is look at me like they don't care.

Hi oharag,

I'm sorry you're not getting acceptable service from your dealership. I'd be happy to look up TSBs if you want to send me your VIN, and either you can share them with your dealership, or I can schedule an appointment for you.
