Default 2017 RT Front Bumper

Does anyone have any links on where I can find aftermarket, or OEM front bumpers? Went sideways afew weeks ago having some fun in the rain, and dink'd my front left quarter of the front bumper. It tore a hole and it looks kinda nasty.

I went brain dead pulling into a parking space and did similar damage on the right side of my D. Took it to my local dealer. 3 days and $1,200 later, you can't tell what I did. This reply is only to give you a base number for comparison. To be clear, I did damage the wheel well molding like yours. If I can find the photos I took of the damage, I'll post them here.

I kind of figured as much.. I have no idea yet if I broke any brackets behind the panel, but from my understanding, and other experiences, they're weak as hell and more than likely compromised.

If it were mine i would just pony up and have it fixed with OEM parts and service. Too nice of a vehicle to cut corners.

That said, if you were going to delay the work, know that heating up plastic bumpers often helps dents heal. Between that and some polish you could hide a lot of that. I had a Maxima that got rear ended, and just leaving it in the sun was enough to pop the dent out.

Well fellas.. The other day I was meeting my wife for lunch.. Was making a left turn, on my green arrow.. Some dude ran a red light going straight and totally nailed my other side.. Far worse damage.. Entire fender is crumpled in, headlight is facing the ground, hood is jammed sideways..

So it looks like ill be getting a free OEM bumper as I originally wanted. Since the other driver was in a company vehicle, and he ran the red, they're accepting 100% fault. Which means I dont pay a deductible and my rates wont go up.. I also get a free upgraded rental for the next 6 weeks curtsey of him..(What should I get?!)

Ill try and see if I can snap some pictures while the truck is in the shop..

I would like to look into some front guards, with possible LED mounting.. If anyone has a direction to point me in, that would great!

Thanks for the support guys.

Be sure to get some $$ money for devaluing your DD. Now that you are having the DD fixed through the other parties insurance company. There will now be a record of your DD having been in an accident. The resale value of your DD will go down. Have your DD re-appraised to be sure you get all your devalued compensation back from the other parties insurance company too.

Thats a good point. Although I do not plan on ever selling it, it would be nice to receive depreciated value from the accident. Thank you, I will go over that with my adjuster.
