Default Motor Trend Long Term Test

In case anyone has missed this, Motor Trend has picked up a Durango for their long term test fleet.

It's a V6 RWD model... i think they missed the boat not getting AWD on the tester. But looking forward to seeing what they think.

I saw the announcement but I've not looked at any updates.

Default vs a range rover.

cost to maintain a range rover is insane but as he never keeps his vehicle off warranty; the reviewer would never know. Long term is 30 000 miles?

I can attest to that. My wife is driving my reliable Durango right now while I wait for the water pump to arrive for her Range Rover with only 48k miles on it.

That's funny. My reliable '13 R/T only had one failure in 4.5 years and 48k miles. Water pump went around 35k.

Default Test car stolen

I've been wondering when Motor Trend would provide an update on their long term Durango test car. Turns out it got stolen.

They replaced their V-6 RWD drive model with a much nicer RT AWD unit: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/dodge...-term-arrival/
