Default 2014 Dodge Durango Transmission temp

Hi everyone,

I'm new here. Just purchased my 2014 Durango in December 2016. 3.6L 8 speed auto.

It has 68,000 km (about 42,000 miles). My question is regarding the safe normal operating temp of the transmission. I dont do any towing, just normal driving.

The temp after driving for about 15 mins stay at 90-92 Celsius (194-198 Fahrenheit)

Is that normal? The light hasn't come on but it seems high. Any help appreciated, I can't get an answer from any dealer on the safe normal temperature it should be at.

If it's not in the red, it's ok. Your owners manual will describe the transmission temperature monitoring system.
