Default Heat/vent seat not working

I have a 2017 Durango RT and the seat heat/vent are not working. When I turn the switch on, the light stays on for a few seconds then turn off. Neither heat not vent front or back works. Any suggestions.

Take it to the dealer and use your warranty.

if it was something simple I would do it myself instead of wasting time dropping it off and having to get a ride to and from the dealer.. but thanks for your insight on the warranty I would have never thought of that.

Hello foodawg,

If you plan on taking this into the dealership, please let us know. We'd be glad to help get this process started.

Is it just the driver's seat, or both front seats?

Do you have the "Easy entry/exit" feature enabled? If so, the first thing I'd check are the wires under the seat to make sure no connections are loose or wires broken. Then, unless it's absolutely necessary for your comfort, I'd disable the Easy entry/exit feature. I've seen that cause a lot of wire fatigue on other makes of vehicles. I haven't really studied my Ram or Durango to see if the wiring is laid out better than in the other makes.
