Default Left rear door will not unlock properly

The left rear door on my 2014 Durango Limited won't unlock using the hand on the door wireless entry at the driver's door or the key fob button. What really has me puzzled is that the wireless entry actually works correctly at the front passenger door and when using the unlock button inside the driver's door it also unlocks the left rear door as it should.

I'll sure appreciate anyone that can clue me in on what the problem is.

Thanks !

Does it lock/unlock if you press the lock/unlock buttons inside the vehicle? If not, see this post...

Yes when using the unlock button inside the driver's door it unlocks the left rear door just as it should.

I'm sorry I re-read your post and noticed you did say that. My bad. Still might be an actuator but since it works with the buttons inside it may involve a body control module (BCM) problem? Maybe take it to the dealer and see if they can flash update or reprogram your BCM. It's like 15-30 minutes billable labor and worth a shot.

I found a quick and easy fix. On the Uconnect® system screen I went to the following; CONTROLS... SETTINGS... DOORS AND LOCKS, then I turned off and on the:

1st press of key fob locks all doors
and
1st press of key fob unlocks all doors

I then exited the set up and everything worked like it should.
For some unknown reason the internal door lock settings glitched out. Manually resetting the locks put things back in order.
