Durango 2016 R/T--we did not have factory tow package. We got a hitch and tekonsha system added yesterday at RV garage to pull 20 foot trailer. Tekonsha lights go on, but nothing shows on trailer (lights). We had toi cancel our camping trip as dealship sservice centers all close at noon, and are not open on Saturdays in our area. Quite disappointing. What needs to be done? What is the issue? Thank you.

 

 

Its still at the garage. they say that they cannot activate it.

 

The dealership will need to enable the trailer lights through TIPM programming or RV Garage will need to splice in to the factory wiring and wire manually with relays/transistors to handle the added load.
